Jase @ Boosterthon Fun Run @ Granger

Today was the Boosterthon Fun Run at Granger Elementary. It was a great day for the run...the weather was beautiful and of course there was a strong Texas breeze blowing. The kiddos have been collecting donations for the number of laps that they would run. Thanks to all of you who donated! Jase had a blast!

Easter Morning

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

Somehow we all managed to get ready for church early enough that we could grab a few pictures before we were out the door. The one of Jason and the children is my favorite. I love, love, love him and I absolutely positively adore those three kiddos!

Jase's Easter Basket

Jase really hoped for some things that he wanted for baseball. Among those things were a good pair of sunglasses. Well...here he is modeling sunglasses. Along with all the baseball stuff, he also got a good book and of course....candy too!

Jackson's Easter Basket

Would you ever have guessed that Jackson wanted was Legos in his Easter Basket? Well...that's just what he got ~ SpongeBob Legos. He also got a few things for baseball, sunglasses, and his all time favorite.....candy! He was one happy boy!

Gracie's Easter Basket

Gracie loved everything that she got from "Easter". She has been waiting on "Easter" to bring her some surprises for weeks. All she really wanted was a Barbie. She did get a Barbie, Barbie clothes, Barbie sunglasses and of course....some candy. Gracie named her Barbie Katrina.

Bella's Easter Surprise

Bella awoke to a nice surprise Easter morning! She had her very own basket filled with _ _ _ treats and toys. (You must remember that she does not really know that she is a _ _ _.) She knew exactly which basket was hers.

We let her chose which treat she wanted to enjoy Easter morning. She chose the chewy granola bone. As soon as we gave it to her....she took off and hid under Jason's chair. She feels hidden under there! I also think she enjoys some peace and quite sometimes! It is safe to say that they all four had some nice surprises from the Easter Bunny.

ABF Easter Egg Hunt

Today after church, our ABF (Adult Bible Fellowship) met at Bear Creek Park for lunch and an Easter Egg Hunt. It was so very windy that we had to eat in our cars. After eating, all of the Dads went and hid the eggs. The kiddos had so much fun! Gracie was so confused...she thought that she had to find only the pink eggs that she had brought from home. Once we got her straight ~ she had lots of fun. She even found a money egg. The boys were quite jealous...but still happy for her. What a great day!

Jase the Ace

These are pictures from Jase's first game this season. Talk about proud...his momma and daddy were so proud of him! He pitched the entire game. He struck out 11 players and gave up 0 hits. He had an awesome game. Needless to say...he got the first game ball of the season! His teammates and coaches call him... Jase the Ace! He loves being the pitcher, but it leaves me in knots the entire game. I guess that's part of being a baseball mom.

Our Roll of Thunder

These are pictures from Jackson's first baseball game this season. This season his team is called Thunder. He really thinks that is a super-duper tough team name! He had a great game. He caught a ball and got someone out at first all on his own! I wish you all could have seen him celebrating his play. He was so proud of himself and he was not afraid to show it! You gotta LOVE that about Jackson. Pretty much the rest of the game, he used his ball cap as a broom to clean first base. His cap will never be quite the same!

Our Growing Bella

Just a few recent pictures of Bella. This girl is growing so fast. She is a real handful but we love her! She had surgery this week. The morning of the surgery the boys were a little upset that she was no longer going to be able to be a "momma dog" - meaning she could not have puppies. I kinda blew it off and told them that it was gonna be okay. That evening after we picked up Bella from the vet, Jackson said, "Mom, what did Bella's doctor say that her puppies looked like?". After many more questions from him - Jason and I realized that he thought Bella already had puppies in her tummy and the vet was taking them out of Bella and giving them to another Mom dog. No wonder he was so upset that morning. After we explained that there were no puppies yet, he felt much better. My sweet Jackson!

Jenn's Family in Mississippi

During Spring Break, we went to Mississippi for a few days to visit family. When we visit - we always have a big "get-together" with my Dad's family. For the second year we went to Reagan and Josh's lake house (my cousin and her husband). We had so much fun! We did a lot of eating and even more laughing. We always have fun when we are all together. Aunt Gena had lots of yummy vegetables...I even stole some fresh peas from Reagan's freezer. Thanks again - Josh and Reagan! We really enjoyed our time with all of them. I'm glad they are my family!

Jason's Birthday

Gracie could hardly enjoy the birthday cake for looking for the cake. In this picture is she saying to her Daddy , "Daddy, I found the ice cream but I cannot find the cake.".

This year Jason wanted an ice-cream birthday cake. So...here it is. Gracie picked out the football and it was made with cookies and cream - Jason's all time favorite! It was yummy!
