Last Day of Kindergarten

These are a couple of pictures that I took on the last of school. We took one "serious" picture and of course we needed one silly picture too! Jackson had a great year and he really enjoyed Mrs. Smith's class. He made friends with a lot of really neat kiddos too!

Field Day Fun 2009

This is Jackson enjoying himself at Field Day! There are some pictures of him and his friend Ava. He thinks the world of Miss Ava. I love, love, love these pictures because his smile so represents his love for life! He is my one kiddo that gets the very most out of every moment....Jason always describes him as our "Little Life Lover".

Field Day 2009 @ Granger

These are a few pictures from Field Day. It was a really FUN and WET day! Coach Ray used the Gatorade theme this year. It was the Best Field Day ever. I told the boys that when their Daddy and I were in school our Field Day consisted of egg toss, sack race, and jump rope relay. Things have come a long way since we were in school. But at least we did not have it as bad as my Dad did....he had to walk to school up hill both ways...in the snow! Ha! Ha! Hmmm......I think he was pulling my leg!

Jase's 4th Grade Awards Ceremony

Today was the End of the Year 4th Grade Awards Ceremony. It was another great year for Jase. All due to the combination of him being an "AWESOME~SAUCE" student and having an "AWESOME~SAUCE" teacher! Awesome~Sauce is what Mrs. Sheffield always called her students. She didn't really know that she fit into that same category. We love us some Mrs. Sheffield! The following are the awards that he received this year...Hats Off Award for his hard work and dedication, Walk the Line Award for demonstrating outstanding citizenship during the school year, The Silver Spur Award for Honor Roll. He also was recognized for achieving Commended scores on the TAKS Writing, Math and Reading tests. For all of you not familiar with State Testing in Texas - our test is called the TAKS and Commended is the highest level of recognition on the test. Last but not least, he earned a medal for competing on the UIL Team that represented Granger Elementary. We are so very proud of you Jase Man!
This is a picture of Jase's class. He was in class with a great group of kiddos this year! He made some really great friends this year!

Kindergarten Celebration

Today was Kindergarten Celebration for the kiddos at Granger Elementary. The theme of the celebration was a Hawaiian Luau. The children sang a few songs...but, I did not get any good pics of that(sad face). Guess I was just too far back in the audience. The students were given leis to represent their awards. It was so cute! Jackson received three awards ~ The Saddle Up Award (for great improvement during the year), Walk The Line Award (for outstanding citizenship during the year), and Hats Off Award (for all of his hard work and dedication). He also received a special music award for this six weeks! Yee Haw ~ Jackson! Mom, Dad, Jase, Gracie & Bella are all so very proud of you!

Gracie's First Bike

For her birthday, Jason's parents sent Gracie a gift card for her first bike. We took her to pick out one and of course she chose a Princess bike. She loves her big girl bike! On the way home from Wal-Mart she was already asking to take the "little wheels" off of her bike. Her Daddy told her that she had to wait just a little longer before we could do that. She just wants to be like her brothers. I am sure her bike will provide her with many hours of fun this summer!

Gracie turns four!

Yesterday our little Gracie turned four years old. I can hardly believe that is even possible. She had a great birthday. She decided around bedtime on Saturday night that she could not wait another minute to open her presents. Jason and I were pleasantly surprised how patient she had been waiting to open gifts until her actual birthday. So Saturday night she opened her gifts. Then Sunday after church we had cake and ice cream. Then she spent all of Sunday afternoon playing with her new toys. Since she did not have a "party", tomorrow she is going to Girly Girl for her very first manicure and pedicure! I will be sure to post some pictures. Thanks for all of the Birthday Wishes!

Bella's Graduation

She did it! Bella graduated from obedience training. Does this mean that she has great manners? Nope! I means that she is completely house-trained. She has overcome a few bad habits, and she learned a few tricks along the way. However, she is still quite nervous around other animals....so she has embarked on a new journey. She goes to Doggy Day Camp one day each week. Her trainer said that she needed to figure out that she was a _ _ _, and that socializing her would help out a lot. She
LOVES it! She has made friends with a beagle named Brody and they have the best time playing together. The kids think it's really cool that Bella goes to camp!
